Your roof, explained simply

Here’s what to expect.

Start with your questions. We’ll talk through the condition, the options and the work involved.

Help for the roof over your home.

Storm concerns may include displaced shingles, damaged roof details, fallen branches or water appearing inside. A roof review helps separate visible observations from questions that require closer investigation. A roof that looks normal from the street can still deserve attention if new leaks appear.

Understand the condition and the next step.

Keep dated photographs, note when the problem began, and gather prior repair records if available. Describe affected rooms and changes since the storm. Stay on the ground and leave roof access to the roofing team.

Plan the work around your household.

For active water entry, call Alliance Roofing and explain the urgency. Keep people away from damaged areas and discuss temporary protection and the follow-up repair scope. If you contact your insurer, keep the inspection photos and written roofing estimate with your own records.

Three questions worth asking.

You do not need to know every roofing term. These questions help you understand the recommendation before agreeing to the work.

A few things you might be wondering

What photos are useful after a storm?+

From a safe location, record affected rooms, visible ground-level damage and when you noticed the changes. Keep original files and earlier repair records. Do not climb onto the roof to get a photograph.

Does hail in my neighborhood prove my roof needs replacement?+

No. A storm report is context, not a roof diagnosis. A property-specific inspection is needed to understand visible conditions and appropriate repair options.

Is temporary protection the same as a permanent repair?+

No. Ask what the temporary work addresses, what remains unresolved and how the permanent scope will be reviewed. Keep both sets of records.
